☕ Chemex Brewing Guide

Chemex Brewing
  • 🔥 Coffee: 26g (for 2 cups)
  • Brewing Time: 3-4 minutes
  • 🌡️ Temperature: 93°C
  • 💧 Water: 400ml
  • ⚙️ Grind Size: Medium Coarse

☕ How to Prepare the Perfect Chemex

  1. Bring water to 93°C.
  2. In the meantime, grind 30g of coffee to a **medium coarse** grind size.
  3. Fold the Chemex filter, ensuring the triple fold portion is facing the spout.
  4. Fully wet the filter with hot water, then discard the water through the spout.
  5. Pour the ground coffee into the filter and gently shake to flatten the bed.
  6. Gently pour approximately 50ml of water over the coffee and let it bloom for 30-40 seconds.
  7. Pour an additional 200ml of water in a circular pattern, starting at the center and moving toward the edges (avoid pouring down the sides of the filter). Let it drip for a while.
  8. Repeat the previous step with the remaining 150ml of water.
  9. Let the water completely drip through the coffee. Remove the filter and serve.
