☕ Hario V60 Brewing Guide

Hario V60 Brewing
  • 🔥 Coffee: 26g (for 2 cups)
  • Brewing Time: 3-4 minutes
  • 🌡️ Temperature: 93°C
  • 💧 Water: 400ml
  • ⚙️ Grind Size: Medium

☕ How to Prepare the Perfect Hario V60

  1. Bring water to 93°C.
  2. Grind 26g of coffee to a **medium** grind size.
  3. Use a Hario #2 filter paper. Fold the edges of the filter in the opposite direction of the initial fold to ensure a proper fit.
  4. Place the filter in the V60 and rinse it with hot water, discarding the rinse water.
  5. Place the V60 on top of a jar, and set it on a scale.
  6. Add the ground coffee to the filter and level it.
  7. Pour around 50ml of hot water over the coffee and let it bloom for 30-40 seconds.
  8. Pour an additional 200ml of water in a circular pattern, starting from the center and moving toward the edge (avoid pouring down the sides of the filter). Let it drip for a while.
  9. Repeat the last step with the remaining 150ml of water.
  10. Let the water completely drip through the coffee. Remove the filter and serve.
